In 2012, the United Nations published a report on the sale of children, child prostitution and child pornography.

Australians were identified as the largest group of sex tourists prosecuted in Thailand.

31 Percent of the total.

Australians are part of the problem.

Australians can be part of the solution.

Darren Reynolds

A meeting with an eight-year old girl in Cambodia in 2006 who had been rescued from horrific abuse prompted me to leave an eighteen-year career in media to play my role in being an active part of the solution.

I have met children sifting through rubbish looking for food in Cambodia.

have witnessed the kind of poverty that drives parents to sell their children.

I have engaged with underage sex workers in Thai bars as part of undercover rescue operations.

I have run school programs for World Vision Australia, The Salvation Army and Destiny Rescue.

I am passionate about engaging Australians young and old about the issue of poverty-based exploitation.

I have run over 125 presentations in WA schools, churches, community groups and businesses in 2023 alone.

I would love an opportunity to come and inspire you and your students, staff, church or club members.
